Woodwork Walls

After having built the frame of the house with posts and beams, the woodwork prefab walls are installed to the structure.

The walls are generally made up of pine chords (2 in X 6 in) spaced out every 24 inches to reduce thermal bridges. An insulation material (fiberglass and/or cellulose) is placed between the chords. High-performance OSB boards are installed inside as structural covering. Bad weather shields and boards are placed under the exterior siding you selected.

We use wood from certified forests to ensure traceability and the renewal of our raw resources. A wood structure construction provides a building shell that facilitates air quality control. The wood structure guarantees a healthy, eco-friendly, quick and durable construction.

The wood structure complies with the requirements of the NBC (National Building Code), one of the strictest in the world and one of most complete for wood buildings.
