The requirements of the Novoclimat standard:

• Introduce a control procedure for the quality of the thermal shell through the use of infiltrometry.
  • Infiltrometry is a technique used to assess a home’s energy efficiency. The procedure is to reduce the home’s pressure with a fan which depletes the air, allowing outside air to enter through the unsealed openings or the cracks of the home’s structure. Then, we make sure the house is properly ventilated.

* The "R" in the table refers to an insulation unit. For instance, according to the Novoclimat standard, the roof must have an insulation of at least R41.

Besides being built with healthy and formaldehyde-free components, your home will be equipped with high-quality doors and windows. A heat-recovery air exchange system is installed and an eco-friendly latex paint is used.
